Opportunity: Contract Grant Writer The OUT Foundation

The OUT Foundation seeks an experienced grant writer (both corporate and foundation grants) with strong writing and project management skills to support our team. The contract grant writer will be responsible for writing grants, preparing grant submissions and reports.  The grant writer will also be responsible for keeping abreast of trends in the LGBTQ+ communities philanthropic landscape, researching new great opportunities and assisting with overall grant strategy.

Start Date/Timing: June 2024 ongoing, with a 3-month trial period contract before moving to an annual contract, renewable each year.

# Submissions: 5 grant applications / month, on average.

Grant Amounts: From $2 - $150K, with most requests in the $10K - $25K range.

Staff Support: The contract grant writer will work w/ the Executive Director and Director of Development.

Location: This is a remote position.
