The OUT Foundation Appoints New Executive Director
The OUT Foundation Introduces Tina M. Weaver as ED With Anticipation for All To Come Under New Leadership.
The OUT Foundation is happy to announce that Tina M. Weaver, she/they, an executive driven and cause-driven professional with a Master of Business Administration and over 15 years of experience, has been appointed as Executive Director
Weaver joined The OUT Foundation in March of 2023 and has since tackled implementing operational, and strategic changes to facilitate further growth at OUT. She offers an entrepreneurial spirit through innovation, inclusion, management and staff development with a strong ability in programming and cultivating key partnerships for strategic development and growth.
The OUT Foundation's Board of Directors extends their welcome and full support. “On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are thrilled to officially welcome Tina Weaver as the OUT Foundation’s Executive Director,” said Janine Nicole, OUT’s Board President,

The board of directors knows and has great appreciative confidence that Tina will continue to steward the incredible impact and growth of this world-changing organization, and successfully lead us in removing the barriers that block LGBTQ+ Individuals’ from access and participation in fitness, health, and wellness to ensure their success.”
With a Master in Business Administration from Lakeland College and bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University, Weaver has an extensive professional background. Additionally, they formerly served as Senior Development manager for Democracy Works. Prior to Democracy Works, Weaver founded Vespa Equity Services, a company designed to empower organizations with expert counsel, and provide services that help NPOs make better decisions and grow from a lens of equity.
Moreover, Weaver comes with an impressive YMCA career with significant operational, membership, partnership, fundraising and program experience. During their tenure with the YMCA, they served as an Executive Director and as the National Chair of the LGBTQ+ Resource Network that served the YMCA communities to create an inclusive and equitable workplace and service.
The executive has a genuine love for health and wellness. "We are introducing programs that will assist in breaking down the systemic divide of health and wellness for the LGBTQ+ community. With leadership from our community we have the experiences that have guided our programs. We have a board of directors that are connected with the fitness industry and provide the necessary guidance of strategy and application. The OUT Foundation is needed more than ever," Weaver shares,
