Register Now for 6th Annual OUTWOD Showdown in LA on June 8th

Registration is now open for the OUTWOD Showdown partner competition on Saturday, June 8th in Los Angeles. Teams of 2 will compete within the walls (and beyond) of BRICK Los Angeles in West Hollywood, CA.Each team will compete in multiple workouts and an online fundraiser leaderboard. Scores from the workouts and placement on the fundraising leaderboard will be used to calculate the top performers who will go head-to-head in a final workout to determine the winners!“This is our sixth year hosting an inclusive fitness competition in Los Angeles, and we are looking forward to this event being our largest ever,” said Will Lanier, Executive Director of The OUT Foundation. “Our pride is in the diversity we represent within the sport of fitness, and we openly invite anyone to join our welcoming community and sign up for this competition – no matter their gender identity or sexuality. As I’ve always said – we are nothing without our straight allies.”Teams are 100% gender inclusive and can consist of any combination of gender and sexual identity. The only rule is that both team members are able to perform the required skills per division.OUTWOD is the largest international initiative for bringing together LGBTQ+ athletes and allies to sweat for a cause™ in a safe, inclusive CrossFit training environment.Registration is open now at www.iamout.org/showdown. The cost is $125 per team before prices increase on May 5th.All funds raised from this event support The OUT Foundation, a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individual’s access and participation in health, wellness and fitness to ensure their success.These funds support The OUT Foundation’s OUTAthlete Scholarship Program, which awards year-long gym memberships, nutrition coaching, and more to LGBTQ+ young adults.
