The OUT Foundation Welcomes New Board Members

Cav Celini, Taylar Stallings, and Brooks Morelock join Board of Directors

The OUT Foundation’s Board of Directors is responsible for the health and effectiveness of the organization. The Board ensures that the organization achieves its mission in an ethical, transparent, accountable, and prudent manner. Additionally, the Board provides financial support through individual giving and strategic partnerships. The Board of Directors is made up of people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and unique talents that further the advancement of our programs.

Meet Cav, Brooks, and Taylar…

Cav Celini (he/him)
30 years old
Norwalk, CT

Q: Tell us about your work and background.
A: I work as a Health Coach, consulting individuals on their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

Q: How did you get involved with The OUT Foundation?
A: I was nominated by my friend, Amy Mandelbaum, who is also a member of The Board.

Q: Why did you agree to serve on the board of The OUT Foundation?
A: To honor my desire to serve my LGBTQ+ community :)

Q: What do you hope to help achieve for inclusion in health, wellness, and fitness through The OUT Foundation?
A: I would love to bring in more focus to the mental and emotional elements of wellness to the community in which The OUT Foundation serves, to build upon the foundation of physical health currently provided.

Brooks Morelock (he/him)
32 years old

Q: Tell us about your work and background.
A: I am an architect/interior designer that specializes in designing high performing and innovative workplace in and around NYC.

Q: How did you get involved with The OUT Foundation?
A: I got involved through the Annual CrossFit Drag Show and OUTWOD events in NYC.

Q: Why did you agree to serve on the board of The OUT Foundation?
A: The OUT Foundation has served as a platform for impact and spreading joy. Through our podcast [OUTCAST Podcast] and the Annual CrossFit Drag Show, we have been able to celebrate and include so many people, and I wanted the opportunity to go further and reach even more people.

Q: What do you hope to help achieve for inclusion in health, wellness, and fitness through The OUT Foundation?
A: I believe that fitness is about so much more than what’s on the outside. Through The OUT Foundation I hope to help people fall in love with themselves inside and out in a community that celebrates them in the way they’ve always deserved.

Taylar Stallings (she/her)
34 years old
Tampa, FL

Q: Tell us about your work and background.
A: I am a coach at Tern CrossFit and I am the owner of TaylarMade fitness where I program remotely across various sports for athletes.

Q: How did you get involved with The OUT Foundation?
A: I was contacted by a couple of the current board members to see if I was interested. I fell in love with the mission and wanted to be a part of it!

Q: Why did you agree to serve on the board of The OUT Foundation?
A: I wanted to give back to the community with the sport and lifestyle that has given me so much.

Q: What do you hope to help achieve for inclusion in health, wellness, and fitness through The OUT Foundation?
A: I hope to be able to afford the opportunities to deserving people looking for an outlet and source of positive motivation to add into their lives and further be a voice of health and wellness in my community.
