Episode 19.2, The OPEN+

This episode is all about OUTWOD's OPEN+ Leaderboard for the CrossFit games! Every year, athletes from around the world compete in a global competition called the Crossfit Open. However, the leaderboard divides people into 2 categories: Male/Female, and doesn’t allow transgender folks to compete as their identified gender. This forces them to compete as their gender assigned at birth.

OUTWOD's OPEN+ is the first leaderboard that won’t put people into gender categories. It breaks down barriers for transgender and non-binary athletes – making the whole experience more inclusive. We also dive into our love of Lady Gaga, other queer icons, and whether or not you’d rather have a bowler hat sewn to your head forever, or a monocle superglued to your face forever.
